PJM Rhododendron made its way to the US around 1943 and is a very cold-hardy shrub, known for its beautiful and show-stopping spring blooms. Rhododendron are considered broadleaf evergreens, adding year-round interest to the shrub ,even when not in bloom. The almost tropical, pinkish-purple flowers bloom in April, and the oval-shaped dark green leaves turn a beautiful burgundy in the winter. An excellent plant choice with multi-seasonal interest for any landscape!
A versatile shrub that can be used as a specimen, in massings or along foundations.
