Ornamental value and landscape use: If you’re looking to create a live alternative to traditional fencing, but have limited space, we suggest green Giant Arborvitae—a tough, adaptable evergreen tree that grows well in a variety of conditions—from sandy loam to clay. The tree resists wind and drought once it is established and can withstand snow and ice damage. It grows fast with a rich green, soft feathery foliage. Its dense growth habit makes it ideal for blocking unsightly views, diminishing unpleasant noise, and creating privacy. A low maintenance plant that is disease- and pest-resistant, green Giant Arborvitae is a great choice for residential or commercial applications.
